NEW MEMBERS WANTED

Over the coming weeks, the Brigade will be engaging a recruitment drive to boost the fire-fighting ranks of the Brigade.

If you feel you have what it takes to become a volunteer firefighter, please contact us here or drop into the shed any Monday night from 7:30pm.

It is preferable that you live in the immediate area of Yarramundi/Agnes Banks. We also ask that applicants be over 16 years of age.

BUSHFIRE:- It Is Everyones Responsibility

Bushfire is everyone’s responsibility. You can live with bushfire by preparing your own family and property now. If you are concerned about a possible bushfire hazard in your community, report it to the RFS.

With the bushfire season nearly upon us, home preparation is vital, and very easy. It includes cleaning up fine fuels from around homes, removing leaf litter from gutters, preparing firefighting equipment and having a bushfire survival plan.

Information on preparing for bushfire is available by talking to your local RFS officers, using guidelines on the RFS website or by calling 1800 NSW RFS (1800 679 737).

To report a bushfire hazard in your neighbourhood call 1800 NSW RFS (1800 679 737) or the online form on this website. An RFS officer will conduct an inspection to assess whether the vegetation is actually a bushfire hazard and what the treatment should be. If a hazard exists, the property owner can be ordered to treat the hazard.
