On the 2nd of September, Yarramundi was called to an MVA on Springwood Road. Yarramundi was in attendance with a host of other emergency services including, Hawkesbury SES, Hawkesbury Police, NSW Ambulance, NRMA CareFlight and Westpac Surf Life Saving helicopters.

There were two occupants, one male and one female. Both sustained serious injuries, requiring air transport to both Nepean and Westmead Hospitals. Upon arrival, ambulance officers first believed there would be an infant involved in the accident however that assumption proved incorrect.

Various emergency service personnel also noted the great severity of the accident.

Both Yarramundi One and Yarramundi Nine were in attendance. Yarramundi One provided fire protection while Yarramundi Nine assisted with controlling traffic.
